Buyer (m/f)

Your tasks:

• identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet production and operational requirements,
• negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance,
• establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost,
• collaborate with production planning and operations teams to ensure appropriate inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock,
• identify and implement strategies to enhance procurement efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supply chain processes,
• ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards,
• analyze purchasing trends, supplier performance, and cost data to drive informed decision-making.

Our requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment,
• excellent communication and relationship-building abilities,
• ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment,
• strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management,
• familiarity with materials used in manufacturing, particularly for high-performance industrial products like air-cooled heat exchangers,
• strong analytical and problem-solving abilities,
• proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite,
• ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications,
• experience with imports and customs clearance,
• experience with cost management, budgeting, and inventory control,
• knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
