Currently, for one of our clients – a leading global software company dedicated to the world of computer aided design, 3D modeling and simulation helping innovative global manufacturers design better products in a short time, with the resources of a large company, and the energy of a software start-up – we are looking for people to work 100% remotely and fill the position: Search Marketing Specialist (m/f).
Your Tasks
We're seeking a skilled Search Marketing Specialist to join us. In this position, your primary focus will be on developing and implementing SEO/SEM strategies to increase organic traffic, optimize paid search campaigns, and improve search engine rankings across our digital properties.
In this position, you have the knowledge about current digital marketing capabilities and are curious to explore and learn about newly emerging capabilities. You understand and advocate the buyer's journey and LAER (Land, Adopt, Expand, Renew) model. You also take ownership and responsibility for collaborating with other Search specialists and Marketing specialists across multiple channels on a consistent, strategic path toward growing our demand generation and awareness based on team targets. Apart from that, you work with the Industry Strategy, Marketing, and Execution teams to align on priorities and processes. You are agile and constantly look to enhance the predictability and quality of deliverables for your internal customers.
Besides that, as a Search specialist, you support the team and the business by directly executing tasks, training others, and developing next best practices. You coach interns and stakeholders to look for and implement solutions. You maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset and avoid the "it's not my job" mentality.
Essential Functions:
- finding and optimizing keywords / critical search terms and related webpages and ad copy to optimize the customer and buyer journey and deliver the right message at the right time to the right audience,
- actively supporting your partners, internal customers, and key vendors to devise, develop, and project manage stand-out differentiated search marketing campaigns that support prioritized program objectives,
- actively empowering the planning and coordination of search programs and being able to share best practices to cross collaborating teams,
- being a voice for the Search team's strategy, as well as partnering with internal team members to educate, train and achieve buy-in for search strategies and projects,
- being the voice of the data, along with actively preaching, educating, and improving understanding of team initiatives through dashboards, A/B testing and training, along with simplifying complex search strategies for non-users and leadership,
- building bridges across the organization, developing relationships with stakeholders and leveraging the elevated position to obtain buy-in, develop seamless processes that connect disparate entities, and boost the visibility of our entire team,
- supporting the Search team to achieve continuous improvement in both process and business outcomes, ensuring quality, scalability, and team engagement,
- being the right hand of the search team manager, developing processes, leading the testing schedule, driving enhancements in reporting, and helping lead the search team's adoption of projects associated with organizational priorities,
- identifying opportunities with tools and technology that would help us meet key objectives or improve the working order of the Search team and the Global Demand Center,
- influencing and executing search optimization processes to test creative design, content, cadence, and timing to improve performance and implementation into our acquisition strategy,
- regularly reporting on organic and paid search performance for your industry and making recommendations on how to improve and expand our search presence and demand generation,
- collaborating with Global Demand Operations and Data Analytics and Automation and Search vendor teams (agencies) to ensure analytics and tracking are fully functional and serve the teams' needs for reporting and optimization purposes,
- aligning with key peers and partners, the Social Acquisition team members, and the E-commerce lead, to present a unified front on our Acquisition strategy to the lead of the Acquisition Search,
- sharing outcomes and consistently following up on the next steps from regular deep-dive reviews, ensuring that the entire team is aligned on any new projects, processes, or strategic direction,
- working closely with derivative content, global events, and branding team to ensure consistent processes across all search platforms and collaborating on search strategy from awareness/reputation to global events and demand generation,
- naming and maintaining a list of top business critical keywords that we are tracking and optimizing against to support our web traffic and acquisition strategy for the business,
- supporting overall execution of search promotions, including organic and paid search across various search platforms (ads could include but are not limited to search text ads, remarketing, YouTube ads, P. Max campaigns, banner ads via search networks, and more, as well as platforms inclusive of Google, Bing, Yahoo, Baidu, and more),
- collaborating closely with the Digital Platforms Content Production & Optimization team's SEO (Search Engine Optimization),
- tracking and reporting on our Google Core Vitals for your industry pages,
- ensuring team members use the Pods search budget, document, and track towards KPIs (Key Performance Indicators),
- influencing industry budget for Search and spending pace,
- developing both technical and soft skills and capabilities to ensure there is enough coverage of the key responsibilities based on the business needs,
- aligning and supporting the Zones on your industry operations,
- taking our remarketing strategy to the next level by collaborating and supporting nurture strategy through search remarketing tactics and continually growing this practice within the business, ensuring alignment with our Marketing models,
- helping in developing, aligning, and evaluating the progress and results of your industry-focused business performance measures for awareness and demand generation.
Your Qualifications
Skills and Abilities Required:
- advanced understanding of buyer's journey and B2B marketing strategies,
- advanced experience working with various search engine partners and vendor management,
- robust process and strategic focus, with specific experience in continuous delivery,
- advanced agile mindset with the ability and experience to manage complex stakeholder situations, changing scope, and complex technical landscapes,
- experience working with SEO and Search marketing tools and platforms such as SEMrush, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Looker Studio,
- writing skills on an engaging ad copy,
- experience with project and budget management tools,
- strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work optimally across internal and external organizations,
- ability to hold yourself and your team accountable to deadlines,
- possess outstanding problem-solving, project management, analytical, and research skills.
Education and Experience Requirement:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Web Development, Mobile Computing, Software Engineering or a related field of study or equivalent work experience,
- 6+ years of broad and profound working experience and understanding in paid/organic search, and 3rd party promotions,
- 3+ years of experience with managing Search accounts and overseeing large budgets,
- proven record of owning campaign outcomes and optimizing for engagement and conversion metrics.
