Quality Manager (m/f)

Your tasks:

• use of QA methodologies to determine root cause(s) and the development, implementation and monitoring of effective corrective and preventive actions,
• apply a thorough understanding of QA methodologies and systems,
• interact with customers and third-party inspectors,
• ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements,
• ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems,
• keep up on standards, regulations/law, issues and news with respect to product (service) quality,
• manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products,
• lead a team of inspectors, auditors, and technicians,
• oversee processes in receiving, work in process and final inspections,
• oversee inspection (examination) of incoming materials, ensuring that they meet requirements,
• work with customers, employees, contractors and outsourcing firms to develop product requirements,
• oversee return goods authorization process,
• ensure accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices,
• ensure clerical duties under the umbrella of Document Control responsibilities. 

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field,
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality control within a manufacturing environment,
• strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and industry standards,
• experience with quality tools such as root cause analysis, failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), and statistical process control (SPC),
• familiarity with product testing, inspection techniques, and material specifications,
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail,
• excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams,
• proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software/systems,
• certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) is a plus,
• previous supervisor experience preferred.
