Temporary work

Temporary work

Temporary work is a three-sided arrangement, i.e. it links the temporary worker, the temporary employment agency and the user employer (the agency's client). As a temporary worker, you sign a contract with the agency, but you perform your work on the premises and under the direction of the user employer. Your salary as well as taxes and social security contributions are settled and paid by Trenkwalder. You may also benefit from other services to which you are entitled.

Permanent recruitment

Trenkwalder takes over the recruitment and selection process of candidates on behalf of the client. However, the final decision on employment belongs to the client itself. The employment contract is concluded directly between you and the future employer. Many clients entrust us with their recruitment processes knowing that we will support them in finding the best candidates. In permanent recruitment processes, we are an intermediary and advisor for both parties.

Yes, health and safety training (general and job-related) and occupational medicine examinations are mandatory.

No. The agency does not have the right to charge any fees to the temporary worker - neither for the employment agency, nor for the work clothes or preliminary examinations.

Yes, at the amount of 2 days for each month of being at the disposal of one user employer or more than one user employer, regardless of length of service.

This amounts to 24 days of holiday per year.

You are also entitled to special leave (wedding, birth of a child, funeral), leave on demand (after 6 months of service) and holiday pay in the event that the employee does not use his/her entitled leave.

The same as for a code employment contract, i.e.: Social Insurance Institution (health and accident insurance, pension insurance, disability insurance) or income tax and PPK (Employee Capital Plans) contribution if the employee is a participant in Employee Capital Plans.

The employer must provide the temporary employee with the same working and wage conditions as a full-time employee hired by the employer for the same position. The temporary employee may also use the benefits offered by the user employer.

Yes, under the same conditions as a full-time employee, +50% for overtime work and +100% for work on public holidays. Night work is paid with a bonus: +20% for night work.

It is often the case that temporary work is the first step towards permanent employment with a particular company and a precursor to a longer career. Employers take advantage of the Try&Hire service offered by employment agencies and, when a vacancy arises in a company, they take on permanently those temporary workers who have proved to be competent.

The notice period for a temporary employment contract is:

  • 3 days - when the employment contract is concluded for a period not exceeding 2 weeks

  • or 1 week - when the employment contract is concluded for a period exceeding 2 weeks (calculated from the next Saturday following the termination notice).
