When Richard Trenkwalder opened a technical engineering office in Schwadorf, Lower Austria, in March 1985, the concept of personnel leasing was still largely unknown in German-speaking countries. Born in Styria, he brings the idea of personnel leasing with him to Austria from stays in Great Britain, Scandinavia and the Netherlands.
Over the years and decades, the Trenkwalder Group grew into an international player in the HR sector. Today, Trenkwalder's portfolio includes not only personnel placement but also other HR services such as recruiting as well as customized solutions in business process outsourcing (BPO) and digital learning offerings.

Trenkwalder is growing. As a company and also in the challenges of the labor market, which is undergoing rapid change. Between globalization, automation and digitalization, the HR industry is also changing. Personnel leasing continues to be Trenkwalder's core business. Other products and solutions, such as international recruiting, BPO and e-learning, strengthen our profile as a full-service HR provider and also support the growth of our customers.
